Description:

This is not a class, but a one-day-trip.

This neighborhood began its history in the 1924s. The cuisine in Santa Tere is very rich in varieties, colors, flavors and essences, you can find all kinds of food, dishes, garnachas, snacks, from street food, the best tacos from Guadalajara, the market, to restaurants with World Records, such as the Carnes Garibaldi restaurant, also Santa Tere saw the birth of the most important Mexican food chain in Guadalajara, La Gorda Restaurant.

Locally there is a place where they prepare medicinal concoctions, with secret recipes and strange ingredients, this place is called "Las Titas", its most interesting juice is Versace Juice.

If for a moment you start thinking about something you need, from the most common to the strangest thing you can imagine, meat, bread, furniture, optics, patisseries, mole, shoe stores, keys with/without chips, technology, art, appliances, piñatas, sweets, nice fabrics, kitchen appliances, antiques, etc. Well, Santa Tere is the place where you should go, because of the wide variety of businesses, shops, stores, tianguis and more places, you don’t have to go anywhere else, because you can find everything here.

We will leave from the Sculpture at the Floresta at 8:30 am.

You’ll be provided a map and a list of the businesses in the area. You can walk around and window shopping/buy what you need. By lunch time we will take you to Karnes Garibaldi restaurant. They serve a very Traditional dish from Guadalajara. (meals are not included in the price).

Don't forget to bring your ID, cash, comfortable clothes and shoes because there is so much to walk and see.

Our coming back to Ajijic will happen around 4 or 5 pm.
