RickS
Just made the trip yesterday and the tolls, starting from the Macroliebramento to the Rio Grand river in Laredo.... going through Lagos de Moreno, bypass SLP on the west, through Saltillo/Monterrey...... was a staggering 1320 pesos! That's about $71US @ 18.5 exchange rate. I usually go through Aguas/Zacatecas/Saltillo/Monclova to Eagle Pass which has FAR fewer tolls and the roads are just as good. BTW, about 3km short of the border in N. Laredo got pulled over by mordida -seeking Transitos. I'm used to this with my US plated car around both N. Laredo and Colombia crossings. Short story is that I did NOT pay them, asked for a ticket and through their frustration with me, told me to Vamoose!
Mostlylost
Just checked my PASE account and I paid $1339 including the bridge to enter US @ $30 Soon to be higher as the new section entering Nuevo Laredo is completed. The new booth is under construction. Biggest ripoffs are the Lincoln north of Monterrey at $163 ,the Tepatitlan @ $212 , and the Jalostotitan @ $175. You can avoid all of those if you want for about 30-45 minutes additional.
RickS
They could already be charging for the last/new toll section as the rate at last operating booth at Sabinas was $273! BTW, the 3 you mentioned were all 2 pesos higher yesterday...

However it is one of the nicest and best maintained toll roads on the whole route, the other being Periferico between the Apasco plant and Lincoln junction and only $72. Plus new clean BP stations on both sides good pit stop before drive onto Laredo.
RickS
Yes nice but.....$15 US is a lot of money for such a short distance IMO

Good for you not paying mordida. Took me 45 minutes east of SLP many years ago to get the "vamos" order.

Mainecoons
Tolls far lower going by way of Pharr. About half. Much less truck traffic too, going via Ciudad Victoria and Pharr as well. Much better choices in hotels and restaurants on the U.S. side and a very doable one day trip from here to the U.S., under 11 hours now. We drive it on Sundays for lighter traffic, particularly fewer trucks. These high priced toll roads are probably one of the reasons the Mexican economy is in recession or at best stagnant, the high cost of fuel thanks to the socialism of Pemex also contributing. It is no wonder the truck drivers are constantly protesting both. Sad.
wanderer
i left ajijic on the 29th of jan. spent night in saltillo then to colombia bridge. spent 64 dollars on tolls including the 28 pesos at the bridge. went thru aguascalientes and bypass around zacatecas. have never seen so many trucks from saltillo to colombia bridge. took 21 minutes to go around the inner western ring road in ags. new overpasses and much improved.

One thing for a Prius and quite another for an F350! Gas in February was equivalent to about $4.25/gallon. Generally.... the longest lines will be downtown Laredo. Much shorter out at Colombia but then it is a ways out of town so one must take that into account.

Shows costs as $1081 and a $zero for Lincoln around Monterrey.. Also for some reason the PASE website no longer has the route calculator. Even it was wrong in last time I checked in January.
