SunFan
I'm looking at a great deal on a wood pellet smoker at costco.com but can't seem to find a supplier of pellets here locally. Does anyone know of an online or local (Lakeside or Guadalajara) source for pellets??? Just a few kilos until I can bring bags down from NOB. TIA for your usual good advice. CHILLIN
Check with Estafeta U.S.A. office in Laredo. Make sure you will be allowed to import wood smoking pellets. Free call, peace of mind.
AngusMactavish
They are available on Mercadolibre, for example: https://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-655508883-gmg-grilling-pellets-1270-kg-premium-apple-blend-para-bbq-_JM?quantity=1#position=40&type=item&tracking_id=46f29eca-276e-459e-b995-176bcbb6233f
SunFan
I would never have thought wood pellets might be a restricted import but nothing surprises me here. Good thing the millions of mexican who still cook on wood-fired grills don't use pellets! SunFan
johanson
Some 10 or so years ago, I bought a bag of the wood smoking pellets at one of the two Costco stores in Guadalajara. I have no idea whether they still sell them or in which of the two Costcos in Guadalajara I found them.
SunFan
Looks like Angus solved my problem. I don't know how I missed the product on mercado libre. I must be getting old or something. Thanks Angus SunFan
