bojackson
Looking for information on Three Kings Day in Cajititlan. The articles I've seen says 12 days after Christmas, next Monday 6 January. Any feedback from folks who have been before would be appreciated. Xena
It has been several years since I went but it probably has not changed much. Be prepared to do a lot of walking in packed tightly crowds. There are auxiliary parking areas outside the town and you need to hike in and back out. It is a mob scene. It is a fiesta on steroids. Be sure to go to the church and visit the side chapel of the Three Kings and get in line to receive your blessing. A cloth is thrown over your head in front of the altar as prayers are said. Go hungry. Lots of delicious food for sale. Maybe someone who has attended more recently will have more details. It was a great, fun, and exhausting time.
