Sharonstjohn
I have lost my passport- I need to get it replaced quickly. I’m seeking guidance from any Gringo who has had to replace this document. What glitches should I be careful of, what papers do I need. I’m scheduled to go to LCS on Jan 8 and meet with the people who assist with lost or stolen passports. Should I have photos taken, where and what size? Thank you. PNR1
Get these two forms DS=11 & DS-64 at LCS. Check the Customs and Immigration section of Chapala.com on Friday and the accurate fees will be posted. Alternately get my contact info from LCS and email or call me. Just so ya know- the trip buy bus to Guadalajara is cheap, comfortable, and relaxing. A cab ride or UBER to the consulate is cheap and not unpleasant. Whereas only certain things can be taken care of when the consulate staff visits us lakeside, all your needs can be addressed in Guadalajara and many by a simple email to them.
