The place to which you are referring is called Jazmin and is located behind Actinver and opposite Farmacia Guadalajara. The owner is Mari Chuy (pronounced Chewey). Her cell number is(was) 333-905-7345. She is amazing although very busy... can even make proper pleated drapes.

If you are willing to go to Guadalajara, go to Parisina (spelling) its a very large fabric store. You can chose your fabric and they will make the curtains to your specification. The store I used is located in the center (plaza de Universida) light train #1 has an underground stop at this location. They also use a computer program to determine the length of fabric required.

They have a store in Alamo, just as you come down the hill into Guad on the right side of the hwy.  I was surprised at their selection of curtain and upholstery fabric.  Really, really nice at that store.  No so much for other fabrics.
