Description: The word mole comes from Nahuatl mulli, which means salsa. The first mention of the mole can be found in Bernardino de Sahagún's Historia General de las Cosas de la Nueva España, where he mentions what pre-Hispanic food preparation was like. This dish was to offer to the gods and also to entertain in celebrations. Then within the Colony era the arrival of new ingredients and habits turn mole into what Mexicans enjoy in their palates. So, join in this celebration, let’s learn about the origins of mole and their variants. Let’s prepare 3 types of mole you can make at home and celebrate. This class includes materials.
