desafinada
I don't want to hijack the thread on the Seguro Popular shots. Is LCS doing flu shots this year? Are they available anywhere else. TIA
gringal
I wrote to my private GP and asked when she would have them available. She said probably next week. That was last week. I haven't checked again.

Arjay
Quote Where is Seguro Popular in Ajijic, please. Do you need appt. and do you know the hours? Thanks.
chapalence
If you go to Seguro popular, please be considerate and follow the rules. There are signs on the wall in front of the vaccination clinic that very clearly state you are to have a copy of your poliza (policy) with you. While some expats may have gotten their vaccination without one, why should we be any different than Nationals who present theirs? I went to the clinic without my policy thanks to someone's advice that it was unnecessary and will now need to return a second time, policy in hand, to receive my vacuna.
dennis clark
Just got my shot at SP in SAT this morning. One other person in front of me getting a shot also. She had her SP passport with her. I had brought mine with me, glad I did.
Al Berca
If one needs to prove membership in SP, how can it be “free for all”?
gringal
17 minutes ago, Al Berca said: If one needs to prove membership in SP, how can it be “free for all”? Simple. You need to sign up for it at their office. It may or may not be "free" depending on your circumstances. Whichever it is, when you sign up, you are given papers to show you are a member. Same as practically everything else, si?
dennis clark
Question: Has everyone that has gotten a flu shot at a SP clinic, a SP member? Maybe this will help. Maybe...
Al Berca
It has always been free for all, but now people are being sent home to return with proof of membership?

That hasn't been our experience in Chapala. They asked no questions about affiliation.
Laura Carlos
I can’t even find an address for an Ajijic location. If I go to Chapala, can I sign up for their plan there? What do I need to bring??
Dough
The SP facility in Ajijic is at 6 corners at the corner of Ocampo.
