What ever happened to that TelMex fiber optic upgrade?

To reiterate, the TelMex rep told us, "even though you are in the 10 mg plan, you will never get more than 5 mgs. because you are a new customer."  He said it twice exactly the same way.  

He could have very easily said, you are in the 10 mg plan but probably won't get that much.  But he didn't.  He chose his words quite carefully. 

And again, my speed tests NEVER exceed 5.0 and this includes when I was testing them quite a bit (before I got ILOX).  If we were not being throttled at 5.0, one would think that on the 10 mg plan, that at least now and then it would show a slightly higher than 5.0 speed test result.  But it never has.

they boosted us from 1m to 10m without ever coming out. We do have new fiber optic and modem.

I hear you. I certainly believe you are repeating exactly what he said. It is still BS. Trust me on this.
