CBD for pets

Recommended Posts

This is THE one. Lab tested and over a thousand comments from happy pet owners. It can be brought in via Alex Peterson (add 16% for the duty). My girls are happy, pain free and calm. WORTH it! Do the math on the dosing because there is no difference between CBD for humans or for pets. My girls are big so I bought the human variety in the higher dosage... I just give them much less of it according to their weight. Currently, there is a 30% off discount if you use the code Leafly30 .

CBD oil is working fantastically for my + 14 year old doggie ( bone spurs/arthritis/spondylosis ).  It might have a very small amount of THC in it...., which actually makes it work a lot better ( reading about it, I was also reluctant at first, but not anymore ).   I tried the completely THC free one ( from the US and organic ), and it didnt do a thing.

Conventional painkillers didnt work.

Furthermore, I dont trust the local ( Lakeside ) stuff.

Ofcourse, everything in strict moderation, and step by step.

I honestly believe, that without it, I wouldnt have her with me today.  So nice to see her happy, relaxed and pain free

Where do you buy it if not Lakeside?

I plan to buy some from Dra. Justina, west Ajijic.  Recently she and Dr. Alex did a wonderfully informative presentation at our weekly "Lighten Up" meeting at La Bodega.  Their topic(s) were mainly current use in Mexico of Stem Cell treatment(s), use of Growth Hormones, Regenerative Medicine and CBD Oil.  I learned so much during their presentation and hope I still have enough cartilage in my left hip to regenerate more in an effort to avoid replacement in the next 3-5 years.  Although Dr. Mungia Papachoris in GDL was EXPERT with my right hip replacement almost 2 years ago, it would be great if I could avoid it in my left.  I have an appointment to meet with Dr. Alex Molina, Sports Medicine specialist, tomorrow morning to look at the degree of cartilage loss (based on my current X-ray) to determine if Stem Cell is a reasonable option.  Based upon what I learned when both doctors spoke, it seems the CBD oil must come from a reputable laboratory with 90% CBD and 10% THC.  When there for my appointment  tomorrow, I intend to buy a bottle of drops to try out for sleep.  Fortunately, I do not have pain but understand from those who do that these drops have been life-changing.  Both doctors stressed that it's important to start with minimal drops (sublingual) when in bed ready to sleep until one understands how their own body will react to the medication.

The following week, we had a wonderful speaker, Dr. Varela (Neurosurgeon/Neuro-oncologist) did a very informative presentation on how to stave off Dementia and early onset of Alzheimer's.  One of the recommendations centered around quality 7-8 hours of sleep.  That's why I'd be interested in the CBD oil - for uninterrupted sleep.  Seems quality, uninterrupted sleep allows the brain time to flush out toxins and I'm sure I have introduced significant toxins throughout the day, LOL!

Anyway, my .02 worth.  Use, if helpful and discard if not.

Cheers!

I will find out.  Both Dra. Justina and Dr. Alex spoke about making sure the CBD Oil came from a Lab with consistency and quality so when I'm there today and buy a bottle, I'll ask for more details.

Cheers!

OK, had my appointment yesterday with Dr. Alex.  The CBD oil they sell and recommend is made in the U.S. and imported here to Mexico.  I purchased it and will try it this evening.  His suggestion for me (for deeper sleep) is to take 5 drops sublingual about an hour before I normally go to bed.  The cost was $800 pesos for the bottle.

Cheers!

BTW, one of the best ways to prevent dementia is playing table tennis...

The Olympics for the Rest of Us: How Ping-Pong Can Help Your Brain

July 31, 2012

ROCHESTER, Minn. — July 31, 2012.  The physical benefits of the Olympic sports are pretty obvious: strength, endurance and agility, to name a few. But did you know they also can help the brain? Mayo Clinic research shows that any exercise that gets the heart pumping may reduce the risk of dementia and mild cognitive impairment — and slow those conditions if they start. Aerobic exercise also can boost your mood.

It's aerobic, uses both upper and lower body and causes you to use many different areas of the brain to function.

In an article entitled, "Stupidity and the brain", Dr. Amen says, "Golf is good. Tennis is terrific. Table tennis is the best sport in the world!"

So if you're a child, adult, or senior, looking for something fun and extremely healthy for your body and brain, take up table tennis. -

Hi Alpha 1, I will ask when I go back next week for Stem Cell treatment.  Dr. Alex told me the Laboratory in CA, I think he said it was in LA but I didn't take note of the name.

Yes, Dr. Varela, gave a fantastic presentation on how to stave off early onset Dementia and Alzheimer's and included wonderful ways to enjoy the last third of our lives.  He included studies and this type of activity (racquet sports) was definitely one that helps tremendously.  I know many enjoy Pickleball here as well.  I, naturally, enjoy all forms of dance.  Tap dance in particular has been sited in several studies as being helpful as well.

He also said Chia seeds have more Omega than salmon so I just chugged down my 1/2 teaspoon of Chia with water.  It will become part of my daily routine.  I'll do pretty much anything to avoid getting Dementia.

Salud!

thevalerieleigh, yes I feel the same way. Dementia is a terrible disease and one I do my uptomost to prevent. This is one reason that I play Table Tennis 3 times a week. I have to say the improvement in my reaction time has actually amazed me.  I know of some players that join us at TT and also play Pickleball; Pickleball has a higher level injuries and is harder on the knees since it covers a greater area based on my observations.

I bought CBD oil in  Canada from a store. It was useless-just as many medical people report. The production of CBD oil is unregulated and the actual contents are usually unknown.  $50 wasted.
