ComputerGuy
You've all seen the talk lately, about "mesh" systems, designed to more completely cover your house or other area in a wireless "net", using your modem as the base, and then 2, 3, or 4 little plastic cubes or orbs placed strategically around the place. They do work much better than extenders or repeaters. For a while, Google WiFi was at the top of the best, but lots of competitiors have come onto the market. In fact, lakeside, you can now get a Steren mesh system and a TelMex "Omni" mesh system. I have not installed or tested either of these. I have tested the Google version, and it is excellent. Since TelMex is now sending out emails pushing theirs, I thought I'd check around. (It is made by NOVA.) Here is the price you'll pay if you buy from TelMex: $4,799 https://tienda.telmex.com/shell/af/core/content/content.do?selectedChannels=-8957&contentTypeId=0&contentId=26147&utm_source=NEWSLETTER2019_SEPTIEMBRE_02&utm_medium=EMAIL_NL&utm_campaign=CONECTIVIDAD_MESH ... and here is the price if you buy from Amazon.com.mx: $2,998 https://www.amazon.com.mx/NOVA-MW6-Router-Paquete-Cubos/dp/B076JLJVTG/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=wifi+mesh&qid=1567807992&s=gateway&sr=8-2 I would say TelMex is adding a ridiculously hefty surcharge, wouldn't you? Here is Steren's, at $4,490: https://www.steren.com.mx/catalogsearch/result/?q=mesh I don't know who makes it or where else to buy to compare. 1
zerbit
Telmex also sells the TP link mesh system. I use it in a place with 3 separate buildings, multiple floors and it works great. Paid $6300 MX pesos. PM me if you’d like more info.
ComputerGuy
Thanks for the tip. Interesting that they don't advertise it on their Website. Maybe it's a local thing. Unfortunately, it is also a ridiculous price.

The other 2 can be shared with someone in the same situation.
