elpind
I have been trying and trying to make local (lakeside) calls from Chapala with no luck. I’ve used every combination that I can find online to no avail. Can anybody tell me how to make my calls? I have a U.S. cell phone, T-Mobile, and am trying to make local calls to Mexican cell phones and Mexican landlines. TIA!
AngusMactavish
I have a T-Mobile US phone. I simply dial the local 10 digit number and it rings on my Mexican cellphone. I may have years ago enabled international roaming and you may have to too.
RickS
T-Mobile has a reciprocal agreement with Telcel. While in Mexico your T-Mobile calls are using Telcel . When I use my T-Mobile cell when visiting Mexico I just do as Angus suggested... dial the 10 digit number. Now I have NOT done that since Mexico changed their dialing plan a month or so ago, but..... tomgates
You don't have to have a 1 after the 52 anymore.

If in Mexico with a US phone a 52 is not needed. Jeez, I have the exact phone situation with my T-Mobile US phone and it works exactly as I first posted.
