Eric Blair
There will be a memorial service for Dr. Don tomorrow (Wednesday 7/31/2019) at the church in Chapala at 7pm. There are some other services for special groups as I understand. There will be no procession to the cemetery as he was cremated. The above is what I was told and saw on an renouncement online.
johanson
There are at least five churches in Chapala, two of which I understand, are Catholic. Did they mention the address or which church?
Eric Blair
I'm sorry. I believe it's the one by the fountain in Chapala.
johanson
The Dr. Don I knew was a dentist and worked in Clinica Maskaras, and he wasn't that old. His full name was Dr. Alberto Don Olivera. Are we talking about the same Dr. Don? Whomever it was, I am very sorry that he is no longer with us.

A nice person. My fondest memory of him was one day, after he had been our dentist for a couple of years, was when we were sitting downstairs waiting to be called up to Dr. Garcia's office. Dr. Don walked by and said hello with a big smile on his face. I got up and shook hands and said "You always have a big smile, por que"? He reached in his front pocket and pulled out a $200 peso note and said "I'm not broke". That was just another reminder that we had moved to a very special place. RIP Dr. Don. 3 1
