No cost for installation.

I paid $399 at sign-up for installation. Others are reporting here they are paying even more at time of installation. Since I only signed up three months ago, it might be that they were not charging that fee originally.

The basic Internet comes with phone service in the package, Rick, shown in the first graphic above. You don't have to use the phone portion, however. Personally I would not give up my TelMex landline unless I at least had a cell phone, too. VOIP/Internet phone service is subject to all kinds of quirks and foibles. Not that landlines are not; parts of San Antonio were without TelMex service much of today and yesterday.
