bmh
The vet in RIberas can tell you what to feed her.. We recued a young howl that had lost his tail feather. The vet n Riberas told us to beed him cartilage and chcken and that is what he got for 3 months and we let him go. We were told to talk to Vern,,who gave us a place n Guadalajara, then we found out it is illegal to transport wild like ot to hhave wild life animal in captivity and on and on so we just put the owl in a cage fed him and let him go when he was ok. bmh
First leave him.alone to see if the parents will come if not or if it is nlt a baby but a tiny owl called tecolote put it in a place where predators xannot get to it.. I put mine in a large bird cage I had and fed hin tiny pieces of chicken with chop stick.. He caught on and would grab the chicken.. and small pieces of cartilage after 3 month his tail healed and we released hi. One late evening TECNiCALLY IT IS ILLEGAL TO KEEP A WILD ANIMAL IN CAGES OR TRANSPORT THEM..
