A National emergency chocolate tasting, by HHWT presidential declaration

The emergency “ChocolateFest” was created to generate revenue for 4 local chocolate businesses and will benefit Have Hammer Will Travel A.C. Carpentry School charity.  We at Have Hammer School had a slow May and fell behind meeting our financial goals. Hopefully the Chocolate festival for 4 consecutive Tuesdays in a row for Bingolago players, starting June 18, 2019 will help us catch up to meet out 2019 budget.

Every person that serves on the ChocolateFest Operations Committee and Advisory Board as well as each person who works in any capacity during ChocolateFest is a true volunteer.  There is no paid staff.   Instead of paying a staff,  Have Hammer enters into an agreement with a local chocolate vendors to promote and sell their products at the Tuesday Bingolago.  To promote their chocolate brand on social networking sites and posters on local bulletin boards.

Buy some of their products as Bingolago and door prizes

If you are a chocolate lover and want to taste the local chocolate, this is for you,  Beginning June 18, 2019 there will be a different vendors chocolate tasting for 4  consecutive Tuesday’s.  You will taste different vendors chocolate each week.

There will many gifts of chocolate as door prizes.  You will not be disappointed.

The first Tuesday June 18th 2019 will be Sweets and Treats chocolate shop who supports Hope House. Have Hammer and Hope House for Boys are collaborating to help each other. Start 12:30. PM and at the 15 minute break you can taste and buy chocolates.  Bingolago starts 1:30 PM

If you know a local vendor who sells chocolate who would like to participate, let me know. PM me. Table and tasting trays will be provided. Our volunteers will help set up and take down the display of chocolates.

Wayne, what about your regular chocolate lady?  Sweets and Treats?  Also, someone said there's a place that sells chocolates on Colon, a block or 2 up from 16 de Septiembre.  The Panadería Scandinavia in Centro Laguna mall sells chocolates that are very yummy; don't know their source.  Also, there are at least 2 people who sell chocolates at the Tuesday Market.  One last idea would be to get someone who makes delicious chocolatey fudge or brownies or even chocolatey cakes.  Hope this helps.

The chocolate at Panaderia Scandinavia was supplied by the fellow (forget his name) whose  shop was located in the set of locales in West Ajijic, starting with Ancla, then Jitomates and then the chocolate shop.  He said he was looking for a buyer of his business  because there was not enough business.  His chocolates are wonderful, and if he has not yet gone out of business, I think you should be supporting him as well.
