Ilox Down

Recommended Posts

gosh, that sucks. Yet that is more than 10 times faster than the dialup speed first offered lakeside by lagunanet (28.8 kbps download).

And now we all consider that terribly slow. I wish you luck.

290 Kbps download speed on Fast.com; fourth day in a row that this has happened.

Exactly what happened to me. Don't tell Ilox or the supposedly -disintersted-and-who-sez-he-is-not-at-all-otherwise-connected third-party guy, or they might cancel you the same as they did me when I told them of this problem.

On occasion I've experienced a drop in Internet access with Ilox. When it does happen it is only for a very short time. Right now and every time I check I get 280mb down on fast.com.

Yesterday around this time the Internet dropped for about 5 minutes. The interesting thing is that the telephone was working throughout the outage period. A phone conversation was not affected when Internet access was out.

Back up to normal; down 35 minutes that I am aware of. We see more down time with Ilox than we ever had with Telmex.

I personally think it is the cheap Ilox modem; gonna ask for a new one.

I have had the same Telmex modem for 11 years and now get a steady 18 Mbps download every time I switch over which has been every day lately.

It might be good for those with Ilox speed issues to mention their package.  Someone with a 40mb package getting 10mb isnt as serious as someone with a 350mb package getting 10.
