gringal
Friend sent me this: https://assistancedogregistry.com/instant-service-dog-registration/?gclid=CjwKCAjwq-TmBRBdEiwAaO1enwlLdI1AoAOrIG3z0sidCf_VB_on_4m7CguC-5F9eVenwB0B4ZlpvBoCSfQQAvD_BwE And for ONLY $25...how about that? Note at the bottom that they "support" the official organizations listed. This is a good one.
tomgates
$25 is a bargain. I paid $189 back in 2012 when the airline (Alaska) we had reservations on notified us that our in-cabin pet could no longer fly in-cabin because of some obscure Mexican law. It was a mad scramble as we only had 4 weeks notice. By the time I had done all the paperwork, the airline called and said they changed their policy back to the way it was. This was a real blow to some whose dogs are of a breed that they cannot fly in the cargo area.
mudgirl
It's very unfair for the people who actually require or benefit from legitimate service dogs that every dog owner who wants to take Fifi everywhere with them are getting these fake service dog certificates. A real service dog is trained to do many things for it's owner, not just be a companion. And real service dogs are never left alone- they are with their owners 24/7. Many accomodations that would have accepted service dogs in the past are now reticent to accept anyone with a dog after having so-called service dogs left alone in the room barking and whining and scratching at the door, obviously ill-trained and most definitely not a service dog.
