bmh
look in Feria de los Maestros , Chapala site , they have several artisans who came from San Pablito , you can call them if you speak Spanish. What kindof panels are you looking for. One of the top guy lives either in Tonala or Tlaquepaque, I forgot. You can see his work at Del Corazón de la Tierra in Tlaquepaque. There are also artisans from Guerrero who buy the amate from San Pablito and paint on it.. they are also coming to the feria so you can get the names in that site. If you mean amate paper, it can be had at the large Lumen store just west of the cathedral in Guadalajara. If you mean the painted amate paper artesania (birds, village scenes, etc.) , there is several tiendas in Ajijic that sell them. If you mean the formed bas relief works, go to San Pablito. There was a man who made these in the Ajijic plaza but he has been gone for a couple of years. There was a man in the last Feria who made and sold these, he may be back this year.
