Sandrita
Who is the best orthopedic surgeon who can advise me on having the minimally invasive surgery or to have a full knee replacement? Muchas gracias.
WideSky
Each of us who have seen an orthopedist will have our own recommendations. It will be up to you to decide who is BEST for you. Personally we like Jorge Gonzalez Uruza and as he is one of the doctors at Hospital San Antonio AND it means no traveling to GDL to have surgery. I believe knees, hips and shoulders are the majority of his practice.
timjwilson
If you consider Mexico City, one of the best Orthopedic surgeons in the world is there, Victor Ilizaliturri . He replaced my complex hip joint and does low invasive joint repair.

CHILLIN
That website does not like Firefox for some reason. From what I can read in Spanish the answer is no, they would have to take you to Guadalajara. Surgery under full sedation, especially in the older years can be a risky business. Natasha
Dr. Jose Miguel Huerta in Guad. Works out of Hospital Del Carmen but most pleased to use (MUCH cheaper but still excellent) Hospital Santissima Trinidad. He and the anesthetist were fully aware of my excessive reaction to anesthetic and used an appropriate drug when my hip was done, and it worked like a charm.
