Floating Cities - is this a "thing"

I have talked about this before - that is as far as it went. I was saying that the ancient Chinampa system, growing something like flowers, could easily be constructed using concrete covered EPS foam as the base. I felt this would be a tremendous tourist attraction, especially if the routes were travelled in safe, rustic style vessels or canoes poling and sing songs for the deluxe experience.

Now the United Nations is gathering all these floating city concepts and technologies. Certainly would be cleaner waste water compared to near the Lake communities.

There was a great novel I read years ago which featured a floating city. The book is called Snowcrash. I can't remember who the author was, but it was highly entertaining.

I wish I could read a book.

I fall asleep after two or three pages.  HAHAHA

Yes, I can tell from your 3-10 word posts that you don't have a long attention span 🙂 At least you don't go on ad nauseaum for half a page, like some do.
