Canned Sliced Red Jalapenos

I always have sliced pickled jalapenos in the house....I throw them in everything from mac n cheese to omelets to pizza.

At Walmart I saw these, La Costena brand Rodajas de Jalapeños Rojos Toreados Con Cebolla.  Sliced red jalapenos with onions.  Why not??

When I opened the can, I was surprised at the rather dark color.  The label says it has soy sauce in it.

What an umami delight!!  I smell the start of Korean BBQ sauce.

Absolutely delicious. $15.50p. Saw then on Amazon for a whopping $19 US.

That is a different product if it matters.

Ouch, I blew that. The "six pack" was not obvious, either. But thank goodness. I can't actually come up with the equivalent on Amazon; close, though, and still expensive.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QFG68VM/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_3?keywords=la+costena+toreados&qid=1554502272&s=grocery&sr=1-3-fkmrnull

Just like back home: many grocery stores have big displays of hot sauces; one mall even has a store dedicated to hot sauces. Our own Chapala sauce was 8 bucks for a dinky bottle.

Meanwhile, enjoying the heck out of these; thanks again, Bisbee.
