johanson
That must be it, ComputerGuy Actually every time you all mentioned this small restaurant, I thought you had to be talking about something else. Because when I heard the term, Thursday Market, I thought it had to be a much larger function than could fit in that small restaurant. 1

It´s a small market for small people on a small street in a small town. I know that when it is properly described you could find it blind folded…..even though you are a BIG CITY boy from Seattle. Have a good day, my friend LOL....

RVGRINGO
When I think of 'Thursday market', I am reminded of the Jocotopec Tianguis, every Thursday. Anything else is just confusing to many, I suspect.
MtnMama
There are (were?) two smoked salmon vendors at the Tues. Market. Philipe and Lisette are next to the Scandinavian Bakery stall, and Slammin' Salmon (Fred?) is across from the tamale vendor.
RVGRINGO
Tamal, not tamale. Plural is tamales. So, you could say, "Vender of tamales, where you ate just one tamal". 1

RVGRINGO
You make a valid point. Also from the dictionary: "from Mexican Spanish tamal, plural tamales, from Nahuatl tamalli."
