Only 2 in Florida and feedback on both is they are not always helpful. If person is driving I recommend Laredo. The link to all the MX consulates, the required form etc are here on my web site which averages 1200 views per day:   http://www.soniadiaz.mx/immigration---visas.html

Six years ago we used the one in Orlando. I think we may have been the first since they instituted the residents permanante system. When we called they said no appointment necessary. Different story when we got there as I assume the regular clerks at the counter could not do it. Once we got the appointment and brought the papers as they requested all went smoothly.

I don't know if they have changed but they wouldn't accept copies I had printed from my online bank records. Since that was the only way we received our statements it required a bit of creativity. We had our financial adviser write a letter and notarize it. Worked like a charm.
