CHILLIN
This is a trash cleanup movement occuring all over the world, mostly by teens and younger, somehow turned viral and competitive. There is a lot of activity in Mexico, but I can't find a single defining web link. There was a local school in Chapala, where a friend volunteered, and the adults decided it would be a good idea to send kids out around the neighborhood to collect trash. Well! many of the mothers exclaimed, no child of mine is going to be seen picking up trash. This new movement is motivated by kids and social networking. Encouraging? I think so. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2019/03/12/will-trashtag-challenge-really-get-bored-teens-offline-cleaning-up-planet/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.c0e0530523b4

HarryB
For many years Juanita, La Japonesa, led a group of kids around Ajijic picking up trash. Hector while he was delegado followed her tradition and the Masons bought the kids T shirts. After his term he tried to get someone to continue the group, but, no one volunteered. We are slowly get more trash cans and that will help greatly.
