I doubt very much if a criminal would take the time to look at  passports to see if we are from Canada or the U.S.  Then, if from Canada, say to themselves "I won't rob or harm this person since I am only looking for those from the U.S.".    I would not feel safe just because  you say you are from Canada.   Be vigilant at whatever you are doing, wherever you are from.

Maybe if you found out the purpose of the US Travel Advisories, it would make you appear intelligent when you decided to make fun of it, or maybe not. :D

You missed the whole flavor of this post. Guess you don't "get" humor.

LOL! Not only are they less in number, it is well known that the U.S. ramps up its warnings especially before Spring Break. The U.S. wants all those vacation dollars to be spent in the U.S. not elsewhere.

All of you missed my point , the destinations in the travel advisory for CANADIANS, in the CANADA web site are LESS than 1/3 than those in the USA web site, if you can not stomach that too bad for you!!!

If you read the US State Department warning it advises the US embassy and consulate employees are forbiden to go there - name of a state, city or rural area, go out after dark, travel at night, to visit bars or casinos etc. Why no Canadian embassy or consulate employees are advised as much you ask and citizen advisories are about 1/3 of the US advisories.  Does Canada have DEA agents in Mexico or other operatives? Maybe Canada is correct in their advisories based on their research and maybe the US State Department is correct based on their research - even though lagging in updates most years. You seem to think all is equal when it is obviously not.
