Sunday, April 7, 2019, 2:00:00 am clocks are turned forward 1 hour to Sunday, April 7, 2019, 3:00:00 am local daylight time instead.
Mainecoons
I keep hoping AMLO will kill this bad idea here for good. He is on record as against DST.
gogirl
The USA changes clocks on March 10. Angus is correct for Mexico.

Yo1
Daylight Savings Time is definitely NOT needed at this latitude.
Floradude
A friend in the States told me that a year from now the US may make Daylight Savings permanent. If that happens I sure hope Mexico follows suit.
suegarn
I just wish that if they're going to do it, that every country would change on the same date. Would make it much easier for when you want to call relatives back home.
RVGRINGO
Time is an artificial concept and seems difficult for many to understand. It is related to distance; adding to the confusion. Then, your position north or south of the equator also enters into consideration. It makes most folks heads spin; especially when asked if they know which way they are moving, when they think they are 'stationary'. But then, some will confuse that term with 'stationery', and are beyond all help. Of course, if you move fast, you change everything. Call when you have it figured out. Willie
I once read a book called The Time Keeper...premise is when, why and how time started to be measured...fiction but a real thought provoker.
AngusMactavish
I've told this story before but it is timely, no pun intended. Back many years ago when Mexico did not participate in daylight savings time I asked a Mexican why they did not. His reply was simple. "When you go to work before the sun rises and do not return until after it sets, what difference would it make?"
