Mainecoons
I have a generator that will run the garage doors, the house pressure pump and the fridge. All are set up for fast hook up if needed. We have a lot less power outage than we did 10 years ago.
johanson
I love my battery backup system. And it sure was necessary when I first installed my system in early 2008. There were many power outages. My system consists of eight 6 volt deep cell golf cart batteries that that I have had to replace once now, about 4 years ago. Does it make sense to put in a battery backup system for your photovoltaic solar panels these days, probably not, where I live in Ajijic, where there are very few power outages, but I am so spoiled that I probably would, and when it comes time for replacement I am happy to learn from Go Solar that I can consider Lithium batteries instead of golf cart batteries this time. Thanks for the tip.
