That place seems to be the 'location of death' for restaurants.  Not sure why though.  There have been at least three or four restaurants open and close there in the last four years.

As well as some other businesses as well. Still don’t know if they are closed or on holiday.

When a restaurant provides good food and service at  a reasonable price, it''s not doomed.  I haven't tried it and probably won't, but that 'burger' price seems WAY outta line.  I know you can get a delicious "sirloin burger" at Cocinart for a lot less, plus many other places.  Restaurants live or die on "word of mouth" advertising.

I believe the place you are thinking of is in the other thread about the restaurant in Chula Vista that charges 180 for a burg. And 140 for a veggie sammich.

We ate at Intermezzo some months back and it was very popular then. Some dish prices were very high, but the food was good all around.
