Paco Loco
So El Niño is climate or weather? Look at the sun spot count for the last five hundred years and you’ll find that climate and weather are related.

Weather is the day-to-day state of the atmosphere in a region and its short-term (minutes to weeks) variations, whereas climate is defined as statistical weather information that describes the variation of weather at a given place for a specified interval. I guess you could be right. Dead, barren rock and dry caked earth seems to get cool.
Mainecoons
It will either get hotter, get colder or stay about the same. Far left dribble votes for the former, far right dribble votes for the middle and the rest of us and the prognosticators really don't have a clue though some like to think they do. Here's a rather interesting point of view skeptical of both sides and suggesting the real problem is ecological damage from a whole host of causes. I find myself very much in agreement with it: https://charleseisenstein.org/essays/why-i-am-afraid-of-global-cooling/ Don't be misled by the title, read the piece. Here's a clue for you: My solar panels make 100 percent of our power usage. The installers recommended a smaller system that would simply limit outside consumption to the lowest tariff rates but I opted for one that produces over 100%. Retrofitted my house with all the practical energy saving devices too. How about you? Talk is cheap. BTW the Chinese, the world's biggest polluters, are building coal burning power plants at the fastest rate in the world. Look it up. And the U.S. is selling them that coal. talk about the wild west HA

We have around 40 Chinese ships around our Islands waiting patiently their turn....for weeks,..... sometimes months. https://vancouversun.com/opinion/op-ed/james-kerr-canada-should-not-be-shipping-coal-overseas-for-the-u-s This is one in my view. Ugly thing. Our shores are lined with them. We are back home now. Cleaning the mess from winter storms.
