Floradude
Last night (Thursday) between the hours of 5:30 pm and 10 pm, when my TV was on, there was no sound on the ABC Network, HD East Coast (channel 559). I have never experienced a lengthy outage like this before. Did anyone else have the same thing on their TV? At one point in the evening I decided to test the West Coast HD ABC channel. It had sound. This morning Friday at 7:50 am I checked and ABC HD East has sound. Interesting.
ComputerGuy
I watch a lot of TV, but rarely broadcast; I download my shows. So I can't answer for last night, but I can tell you that this happens frequently enough on various Shaw stations. The topic comes up time and again on this Webboard, dedicated to Shaw Direct: https://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/11-shaw-direct-satellite/ There's even a section for "South of the Border" reception.
