HarryB
When I look at my guide, on some channels, it says "dish upgrade needed for 3rd satellite access". Are they beginning to shut me down? My receiver is HDDSR600
ComputerGuy
No. None of us can get anything on the new satellite; it just doesn't send down here. You were never going to get those channels. You will get other channels, however. New HiDef channels are coming over the next few weeks for us down here. peteben
Moving from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 must have freed up a lot of bandwidth on the existing satellites, they can use that for more channels. CG, did you see an announcement from SD regarding what might be coming? Pete
ComputerGuy
There is a Webboard that often has news on this; I don't remember which post I saw. https://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/11-shaw-direct-satellite/
