Drew
Does anyone know how I would get from Ajijic to Costco by bus.
tomgates
Prob take half a day to get there. Bus has to travel on the lateral, not the main Lazaro Cardenas highway. I would be happy to take you there once the gas "crisis" is over.
Bisbee Gal
LCS has bus trips to Costco and other retailers. Also saw a sign outside an Ajijic consignment shop on the carretera about a block west of El Torito that was advertising trips to Costco and other stores for 350 pesos. cstone
Another way is to take the bus from the Chapala bus station to the old bus station in GDL. Grab a cab to CostCo. Shop, and bring back purchases to station. You can store items under the bus and retrieve them in Chapala. Alternately, Lakeside Shopping Services will bring your CostCo items to you. We find it much easier that way.
peteben
Is there no bus going through Joco and up to Guad on Lopez Mateos? That should take you to the Costco there.
bmh
Forget Costco when there is a gas shortage. We have lived here for 18 years gone there 3 times and survived.. Or get the service to deleiver for you.

bmh
exactly at least they are using the gas for a bunch of different people rather than one family... just like the buses do..
