conejorapido
Anyone know how to find a septic tank on a property which is completely paved in concrete. Doesn't seem to be any clues as to where it might be.

CHILLIN
You would need someone to bring a ground penetrating radar for that. There are companies in Guadalajara - but I can't point you to specific names and number. About 10 years ago, the price of these technologies was cut in half by technical breakthroughs. johanson
I remember someone mentioning a small transmitter that is sent down the drain and a person with a receiver would track it from above ground and once they found the septic tank, the transmitter is pulled out. I heard this a long time ago and do not even know if the guy was "BS"ing or if this was a fact.
cedros
When I bought my last house in Canada I didn't know where the septic tank was. Where I suspected it should be was concrete. A plumber came with a long metal snake and sent it done the obvious drain pipe in the crawl space. We waited out on the concrete and could hear the snake as it moved along. We found the tank. Cronopio
Jose Martinez and his camera on a cable/snake can probably find it. He looks at the display to see turns and angles in the pipe, and estimates location based on that and the amount of cable out.
ea93105
None of the snake systems work if the plumbing is the original clay pipe with junction BOXES. These boxes stop the path of any video snake. Been there, done that
green bay wi
We just used Jose Martinez last month. He located our septic with his camera, cut 2 access holes (black water / solids) and put covers on both all in a couple hours...
gimpychimp
Although 2 people have recommended José Martinez, finding a guy with that name in Mexico is rather like looking for a needle in a haystack isn't it? Wouldn't it be a good idea to provide contact information?
