INM Office Mexico City or Guadalajara Airport?

Recommended Posts

Hello. I’m a Permanente leaving for vacation. Flying out of Guad late Sunday, then leaving out of Mexico City to Canada at 1AM next day, Monday. Do I fill out FMM at Guadalajara or Mexico City airport? TY

Basically, I know I should fill out the form in Mexico City, but are they open that late?

24 hours. The desk in Terminal 1 is across outside the exit door from the security check inside the secured departure and arrivals area. Don' t worry  about filling out the FMM there because theŕe is a long high tabletop behind  the INM main desk for you to use and when you finish go give it to the officer and they will complete the transaction. You won't hold up those behind you or have to go back of the line. Easy.

Your flight from GDL to Mexico CIty is a domestic flight. You will have to turn it in in Mexico City as that is the city from which you are leaving Mexico.

Thank you!! Do you know if there is a cost involved?

No cost.  If you don't have the form ask for them at the GDL airport and you can have them filled out when you arrive in Mexico City. Get more than you need so you will have them next time.  Don't put return info on the large section until you are returning in case of flight changes.  Write in bold letters on the top of both sections "RESIDENTE PERMANENTE"

They will take the small part when you leave and when you re-enter Mx they will collect the large part.

It's probably too late to help, but I get my form stamped in Guadalajara. The INM guy knows I'm changing IN DF, but stamps me anyway. It's a lot easier and gentler to do it that way.
