John Shrall Posted January 2, 2019 Report Share Posted January 2, 2019 Telecable Internet is running in Las Salvias a little west of you. If the modem power light is solid and the receive light is flashing, the modem is not getting signal from the main office. There is either a cut in the line somewhere or the circuit is open. Sometimes, but not often, powering the modem off and on can help. Often a Telecable outage will be corrected in a couple of hours. If it drags on longer you have to make the call. For grins you can follow the cable to the street and make sure it is connected to the box on the CFE pole. I once had an outage where Telecable was attempting to cut my neighbor's service but cut my line instead. If all is well to the street than the problem is somewhere downstream.
