CalGal
This morning I saw three little "izzi" cars loaded down with cables, ladders, etc., heading West toward Ajijic. I notice that they do not service this area, so are they helping string the Illox fiber optics cables?

REC
Izzi owns Telecable. You often see their trucks at the local Telecable office. In Spanish but here is a link. https://www.izzi.mx/telecable-landing.html
johanson
I use Telecable (Izzi) as a internet backup I signed up for the fastest available, up t,o 5 meg/sec down by 2 up. Several years ago during heavy use, my internet speeds slowed way down and was therefore not a very good option. Izzi has been upgrading the wiring in Ajijic and other villages and today Surprise , because of the increased or better quality wiring. I am almost always getting more than 5Mb/sec down by close to 2Mb/sec up. So yes, Telecable (Izzi) is getting better all of the time. they also seem to be more reliable in Ajijic, and they told me that soon I will be able to increase my speed from 5 to 10 or 15 Mb/sec or even higher (I hope).
