El Bizco Posted December 17, 2018 Report Share Posted December 17, 2018 One of the 2 wires to my service box is not working. It came on late last night for a while and then again gave up the ghost. Had to run an extension cord from an outlet on the working phase to my refrigerator. Whenever this happens (which used to be often in the RC), my neighbor turns off the main breaker for the failed phase and then uses a pair of automobile jumper cables to shunt electricity from the powered leg of the service cabinet over to the dead leg! San Juan had power, the Oxxo, Pharm.Guad, and Red Cross on the church glowed all night. El Bizco "Whenever this happens (which used to be often in the RC)," It is often, once every three or four weeks it's out for several hours or like yesterday 23 hours. They need a better system than the extension cords they use now. Buyers beware, the views are beautiful; service utilities are substandard to say the least.
