johanson
We only get Anik F1R and Anik F2 here in Mexico from Shaw Direct. Anik G1 the new bird's signal only reaches as far south as Central California even with an 8 foot (2.4meter) satellite dish. I used to use the larger Shaw Direct dish lakeside, but now I like using a slightly larger 1.2 meter dish with two separate LNBs these days. By the way, these days Shaw Direct is upgrading it's digital signal from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 and only those satellite receivers that are the 600 series or 800 series can pick up MPEG-4. The older 500 and smaller numbered series can not decode MPEG-4 and you would only get those signals still broadcast in the older format
