Paco Loco
I need a battery for an iPhone 5s. Besides the Apple Store in Guad, is there a store that has them in Ajijic?
sm1mex
There is an Apple guy that comes to I shop every week or two. Ask them when he comes.
Michael Turner
The Apple rep who comes to IShop each week is from http://www.hall.com.mx. Phone 333 630-1010 or email clarisa@hall.com.mx to set up an appointment to meet at IShop. They replaced my iPhone 6 battery last month.
tomgates
The Aple rep was not helpful when I needed a new battery for the same phone as yours. Benno's replaced it for $600mp.

Mainecoons
I had a 6s done by Bennos, very reasonable cost and great service. Better price than the guy who comes to IShop

ComputerGuy
Well, good luck with that. Keep in mind that the videos are usually by someone who has enough experience to share it. (Here's a 2 minute video!) We presume you got your pentalobe screwdriver in that $9 purchase? As a side note, the 5S and all other newer iPhones use different methods. Will be interested to know how you make out. Another handy tool you may have received in your kit is called a spudger. This is a thin prytool: thinner than a knife, strong enough to pry. Use it for phones, remote controls, car key fobs, etc.
Paco Loco
Thanks for the info. Looks like I’ll get a battery via my daughter who’s in the States.
