Then I'd even more curious: if no fancy colours, why are they better than others? This image is from the 3M page about Ocelo sponges.

The orange and blue, plain colored sponges, are for wiping surfaces, e.g. kitchen counter tops. The other two, with the fancy designs, are for scrubbing dishes, and pots and pans. The textures are different.

Superlake was out of the orange and blue type sponges, but have since restocked.

I will not use sponges as they are a wonderful medium for bacteria to grow in. I use the roll sheets of "j-cloth" and I throw one sheet away after one week's use. I also buy the large green sheets of "scrubbie" and cut it into smaller pieces... each one of those pieces also only gets a weeks worth of use before it is thrown away.
