MarkEliot
Lake looks GREAT. Rain of 5/100 in tonight & tomorrow will easily put us at 20 in for the year. But we need a whopping 1/4 in to hit the monthly average of 4.05. Yearly average is 36 in. Sept can be wet. I predict 9 in . Oct will be 4 in & we will hit the 36 for the year, Am I dreaming? Fred Habacht
Jocotepec had 4.5 inches last night/morning. Rain varies at lakeside. Sometimes we get nothing and there are floods in Chapala.
johanson
Where I live in upper Ajijic above Las Salvias, we are a little short of average. According the old Chapala.com Weather site, the average rain in Aug. is 7.1 inches, in Sep. is 5.9 and, Oct is 2.1 and for Nov. & Dec. combined 0.7 inches for a total on average of 33.5 inches per year. Oh and by the end of Aug. on average we have a year to date total of 24.8 inches. something we are not going to reach by the end of Aug. this year.
