It depends upon where you live. I live in upper Ajijic and the wires a relatively new going up my street and the tech who had to come to my residence maybe 5 years ago to see whether or not they could upgrade me to ten. Said yes they can, and quietly told me that I could receive a much higher speed if it were available in my area. Today I get just ove 10 mb/sec down.

Sadly when I last checked two months ago, I was again told that the information highway to Ajijic just wasn't large enough to give higher speeds. Yet some of you who live near Chapala are able to and do get 20 to 30 mb/sec down. So again it depends upon where you live.
