Ride to Airport for 5AM Flight

I find that's typical. Booking in advance means re-booking when it gets closer... not just for taxis, but practically everything. It's as if "you didn't call again as it got close, so you obviously don't care".

I have a 5AM flight out of Guadalajara on Friday March 16. Can anyone recommend a very dependable and reliable and trustworthy professional driver with plenty of experience and recommendations? Thanks.

Luis told us during this busy season he appreciates 4 or 5 days notice.   I have always contacted him via email and yes, I always shoot him an email the day before to confirm.

We have always used Miramontes but these days for early morning departures, I get really nervous waiting for a taxi at 3:30 am and for trips of 8 days or less, I would just as prefer driving and parking on the mirador of the airport parking garage at $119p per 24 hr period.

Thanks all for the responses.

I've used Alex Peterson before and had emailed him before I posted here. He replied this morning that he was too busy but was going to check for a backup driver. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I've heard about the Miramontes but haven't used them. Sounds like Luis may be the most reliable. I'd drive and park at the airport, but we can't take our car away from Lakeside.
