mudgirl
Fleas and ticks hate tea tree oil. A few drops in a spray bottle and spray the animals. And their bed. Also you can dip a Q-tip in tea tree oil to swab out the dog's ears and get in all those little folds. The ticks come out stunned or dead on the Q-tip. And the smell that remains in the ears discourages new critters from moving in.
