Ferret
I have been wondering about these wifi doorbell to cell phone connections for a while. Does anybody out there have one? Opinions? Is there another one that you would recommend. This seems to be an ideal solution for, not only security, but those with a long way to the door or those who are physically impaired. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072QLXK2T/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&linkCode=sl1&tag=usatsyndication-20&linkId=4ecd6cfa5b89a2e981181a6fa2a12619
ComputerGuy
Since all the doorbells here are installed high enough to keep kids and ne'er-do-wells from ripping them off, I'm wondering if it's worth it. The various WiFi video doorbells I've seen don't have a swivel camera, and there are even add-ons you can buy to help provide a larger angle of vision. I don't have hands-on experience, therefore. But I have seen reviews of this other brand, half the price, with night vision and infrared, motion detection and recording with a memory card slot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077YGZXCR/ref=psdc_7161093011_t3_B072QLXK2T
Tomas
My guess is that they will last a couple of weeks unless the system is welded to a steel or iron structure...Very tempting to kids and Ladron's..
