cedros
We are looking for a hide a bed-preferably a smaller one. Can anyone suggest stores Lakeside or Guadalajara which would sell them?
JayBearII
Liverpool has them--you can see their selection online.
JayBearII
The furniture store near Sunrise restaurant in San Antonio Tlay. east of Ajijic has some, too--not much selection, and the "good" ones are very expensive IMO.

kimanjome
For future reference, what is a hide a bed? A trundle bed, Murphy bed, futon, or sleep sofa? I googled images but there were many variations.
cedros
Where I come from a hide a bed is a chair or sofa that opens up and makes into a bed. Something like these; https://www.google.com.mx/search?q=hide+a+bed+chair&newwindow=1&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjVgKX9xYjZAhXMrVkKHQX5ByEQsAQILA&biw=985&bih=

In case you weren't aware they can make any style you want with a wide selection of fabrics.

Thanks. I was sort of aware of that. He did not recommend a single chair bed (which I thought would work best for the space) as it would be tippy-like sleeping in a boat. hensley
They have them at a lot of Hospitals in Guadalajara, so they must get them from somewhere.
zerbit
Mobeydec Muebles. One other I can't remember off had. Spent a lot of time finding sources for our casita. Mercado Libre has them as well. I think Mobeydec is in Jalisco.

cstone
Cadillac Furniture on the carreterra could make you one. They have made Murphy beds before, and I know that they do chairs, tables, etc., as well as upholstery, so I am sure he can make something that you would like. monica40
Was at Costco on Lopez Mateos and they had an ottoman hide a bed for around $5500 pesos, don't see it on the website. Really nice and small enough to have in most rooms. Bed was not large though.
