Ferret
Saw a similar sign outside of Collingwood, Ontario in the '80's. "Collingwood, Population 12,XXX , And we intend to keep it that way". For those not familiar with Collingwood, Ontario... it is the home of Blue Mountain skiing and on the edge of Georgian Bay. They didn't succeed in keeping the building boom down either.
zerbit
There plenty of room for mountain side condos. I'd imagine there are a few on the drawing boards already. SMH.

pappysmarket
Since when does someone actually need to own the land to sell it to an unsuspecting customer? Has Mexico recently cracked down?

bmh
There is indigenous land and ejido land. The ejido is what was given to the municipalities or communities when the Haciendas were taken over and their land given to the communities around. The land is communal and may belong to mestizos or indigenous..
