Bisbee Gal
We've done a temporary fix with glue, but looking for either a professional repair or the replacement of rubber soles on a beloved pair of Nike's. Anyone in Ajijic or nearby who could do this? GIA (Gracias in advance).

gogirl
I go to the shop in Chapala. Driving East from San Antonio. Make a left at the light in Chapala. Make a right at the street before Americas Mueblas (large store on right side of street) They are located on the right side in the middle of the second block. Bisbee Gal
Update: I took them to the shoe repair shop on the carretera in Ajijic (east of Juarez, on the mountain side). Dropped them late Thursday; they were ready Tues. morning. For 78 pesos he glued the existing soles back down. Time will tell if this fix lasts, but seems like a solid job.
