Al Berca
My favorite holiday cookie. Gave up on finding them here a few years ago, but was hoping that with all the new bakeries and influx of newbies that they might now be available. Bisbee Gal
My fave, too. Have never found them here, gave up the search. Over-indulged on them when we were in US for Thanksgiving....went through a large box of Trader Joe brand in a week!
ned small
Have you tried contacting any of the Mennonites in northern Mexico?
zerbit
Post on Mexico Mule, see if anyone would bring you some. Lakeside area has lots of to and from NOB, might be a good option.

More Liana
My mother made them every year for Christmas. They are delicious, especially dipped for a second in a cup of tea. If anyone would care to make them, they're very simple and all the ingredients are readily available at Lakeside. If you can't find whole wheat flour, you can use all purpose.https://www.curiouscuisiniere.com/pfeffernusse/
